Meet Mae!
MAE is a gorgeous open back dress with a high neckline that is perfect as a flower girl dress or every day dress. The back of the dress has a button loop for button closure with placket to aid in slipping over your child’s head easily. The pattern comes with a doll length dress designed to hit just around the thighs and a normal dress length designed to hit just above the knee. Sleeveless style or fold over sleeves, pleated skirt or gathered, this dress is a must have!

Let’s get started.
Steps:
Step 1: Follow Step 1-3 & 6-7 of the pattern tutorial to assemble and attaching the sleeves.
Then fold the bottom raw edge of your sleeves 3″ (7.6 cm) towards the RS and press. This will be your FIRST PRESS.
Step 2: Press under the bottom raw edge of your sleeves now towards the WS 1/4” (0.5 cm).
Press another 1/2” (1.27 cm) towards the same direction. The undone edge of the fabric is now folded in.
Step 3: Next is to bring the folded edge towards the FIRST PRESS. Press.
Step 4: Tuck the new sleeve into the hem and pin in place. Making sure you only catching the hem and not the cuff.
Step 5: Unfold the cuff and out of the way, edgestitch along the hem to secure in place.
Step 6: Fold The cuff back up and stitch it to the sleeve in the underarm crease to keep it in place. Remember to backstitch
