Welcome to Day 6 and the last day of Lilah Sew along.
By now you have your skirt attached. Next you will want to add buttons to your woven version and hemming (both versions).
Lilah Top & Dress Sew Along: Adding Buttons/buttonholes (woven version)
Let’s get started, shall we?
To add buttons to your woven version, you will follow Step 13 of the pattern tutorial. You will need 3 – 3/8″ (1 cm) buttons for this but I went ahead and add 2 – 1″ (2.54 cm) buttons for my size 4 and I am loving the look!
Psst…If you want to use big buttons please try it on your model first to make sure the overlap stays the same as suggested in the pattern.
Lilah Top & Dress Sew Along: Hemming
To hem you garment you will follow Step 14 of the pattern tutorial.
Remember you will need to use straight stitch for woven version and stretch stitch (double needle) for knit version.
Yay! You did it.
