I am so delighted to announce our first FREE PATTERN; a perfect Niva Leggings & pants!
FREE SEWING PATTERN: NIVA LEGGINGS & PANTS
These leggings are perfect for wearing under or over! Finally a pair of pants that are not too low, comfy, stylish and perfect fit. The waistband is a yoga style and has no need for elastic.
The pattern was designed with faux pleather in mind at first. Of course not everyone will have access to pleather so then we decided to expand to stretch fabrics such as jersey fabric, stretch denim stretch scuba etc as long as the stretch capacity is between 25-50% and with spandex/elastane content of minimum 5% . Also you will need a 4-way stretch so you have ease of movement in both ways! And bonus they are super fast to sew! You will have them ready in less than 30 mins. So perfect for Valentine sewing right?
I made so many already but here are my two fav so far. Both in stretch faux pleather. I have already cut one in jersey fabric and cant wait to share soon.
I paired both of her leggings with Lilah Top. She is so happy with it!
Here are few inspiration for you in stretch leather, jersey and stretch denim.
